With this collection, Steven Passaro celebrates the coexistence of opposing forces—vulnerability and strength, romance and resistance—revealing how these elements shape our journey toward self-realization.
“FRAGMENTED SELF” pays homage to the pivotal moments where transformation occurs. It honors the spaces in between, where discomfort gives way to clarity, and fragmentation leads to reinvention. Each garment is a tribute to these transitions, inviting wearers to embrace the fragments of their journey as integral parts of their identity.
“As humans, we are constantly traversing cycles,” shares Steven. “This collection is about honoring those moments of transition—the in-between spaces where growth happens. It’s a celebration of coexisting emotions: the tenderness of romance, the boldness of resistance, and the strength found in fragility. It’s about embracing the journey and finding beauty in the fragments.”
In a notable evolution for the house, the collection introduces couture pieces into the collection, further amplifying its dedication to craftsmanship and artistry. The hands, as the most precious tools, are central to the creation of these designs, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of human touch. Romantic draping meets resistant tailoring, while layered textures and asymmetrical cuts symbolize the complexity of identity.
