Cropped Brushed Wool Caban
An exploration of volume and restraint.
This cropped caban condenses the naval peacoat into a short, generous form. Wide lapels and epaulettes keep its military origins legible, while the body widens and stops at the hip.
Cut in brushed wool, the back is gathered at the waist so the coat settles into a soft blouson line. Buttoned tabs at the cuffs allow the sleeve to be closed at the wrist or left open.
Short in length. Full in presence.
Designed to be worn over knitwear or a high-neck shirt, as the outer layer of a tailored silhouette.
