The Ascendance Skirt challenges traditional proportion through exaggerated draping and asymmetrical construction. One side unfolds in generous plaid volume, sculpted into controlled gathers, while the opposing panel remains structured and restrained — creating a deliberate tension between expansion and containment.
Cut in contrasting fabrics, the silhouette moves with gravity and intention. The plaid section swells and collapses with each step, revealing its internal architecture, while the darker structured panel anchors the form with discipline.
The result is a composition in motion — bold yet precise, expressive yet controlled.
