ABOUT

Steven Passaro is a Paris-based fashion designer, graduated from the London College of Fashion with an MA in Fashion Design Technology (Menswear). His work explores the construction of identity through the male body, drawing from both Western and Eastern perceptions of self, gesture, and protection.

After beginning his career at Christian Dior, he founded his eponymous label in 2020. His debut collection, Body of Folds, was presented during London Fashion Week Fall/Winter, marking the emergence of a distinct language rooted in structure, sensitivity, and transformation.

At the core of the house lies a precise balance between architectural tailoring and emotional intention. Steven Passaro develops gender-fluid silhouettes informed by Parisian couture techniques, where discipline and softness coexist. The work is defined by a rigorous approach to cut, proportion, and construction, shaped by references ranging from Helmut Lang’s radical minimalism to the expressive legacy of Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten, and the technical innovations of Issey Miyake.

Pleats, folds, and layered superimpositions form the designer’s signature vocabulary. These elements introduce movement and permeability into traditionally rigid tailoring systems, redefining structure as something protective rather than restrictive. Advanced 3D design technologies are integrated throughout the creative process, reinforcing precision while preserving the primacy of the hand.
